Julia Crooks

Overview


Julia Crooks is an associate of the firm and has been a member of the New Mexico Bar since 2013. Ms. Crooks graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2012 in the top six percent of her class.

As a law student, Ms. Crooks was the recipient of the Clinical Honors Award, which recognizes excellence in clinical studies, and was a semi-finalist in the New Mexico Court of Appeals Appellate Advocacy Tournament during her first year of law school. In addition, Ms. Crooks has served as a teaching assistant for a legal writing class and as the manuscript editor of the New Mexico Law Review.

Prior to joining Atkinson, Baker & Rodriguez, P.C. as an associate in April 2016, Ms. Crooks served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Michael Vigil at the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the Honorable Justice Barbara Vigil at the New Mexico Supreme Court.
